No dialogue, only music playing on iPhone 6S Plus running iOS 9.3 beta 5.

Audio fine on iPhone 6S Plus w/ headphones. iOS 9.2.1.

And so looking forward to TWiP Apps!

Joseph, Picture and sound was perfect only Macbook Pro.  Can’t wait for the TWIP and your live training!

OK - weird here. Using a MacBook Pro OSX 10.11.3. Video is fine but your voice is very low and tinny on the internal speakers. The trailing music is fine. Voice and music is fine on earbuds.

Maybe only left channel on voice over speakers.

Looked and sounded great on iPad

Hi Joseph

no voice (but music ok) on iPhone 6 iOS 9.2.1.  Everything ok on iMac OSX 10.11.3

best

Watching your video on my iMac. All is good except when audio ads keep breaking in. Yikes!

Joseph, Audio sounded great via iPad Air 2. In fact it is the best audio compared to your last couple of Webinars in my opinon. Video was also good.

Cheers!

Audio was fine on an iMac, but it kept stalling out.  I have a fast connection, so that was not the issue.  **Update: Ran a speedtest and it was slow on my end!  I rebooted my router / modem and it downloaded fine!  **Update 2: Really liked the video quality!

Yes music at the beginning on iPhone 6sPlus.  Immediately stopped and no audio thereafter.  Headphones worked to provide the audio.

Hey everyone, thanks for the reports. Figured out the problem. Actually the fine folks at Vimeo did; they rock! My left and right channels of audio were out of phase. According to Vimeo:

It seems likely that the culprit is a phenomena known as “phase cancellation.” This means that the audio in the your left and right channels is exactly 180 degrees out of phase. (To get technical, this means the crest of the waveform in the left channel aligns exactly with the trough in the right channel.) This is usually okay when your audio is played back on stereo speakers, but when mixed down to mono (like on an iPad or iPhone), this can result in some parts of the audio being inaudible.

I woke up in the middle of the night last night realizing how my hardware was misconfigured, but didn't fully understand the implications of that until this email came in. It has to do with migrating the video to a new switching system but not the audio yet. So I've run more tests and by simply disabling one channel and setting the other to mono, it all goes back to normal. I'm rendering new files now and will upload tonight. In a hotel in Vegas now so it'll be a little slow going but at least it'll be fixed soon!

Audio works just fine. In fact, the audio is very good. And I’ve been told that the most important thing in video, is audio. So props to you sir.

Regards,

Phil

Joseph, Great news.  Now onto that little hole in the ceiling!  After having fun in Vegas, of course..

Hole got drilled Saturday morning… rack and long SDI cables arrive Thursday when I get back, along with a Decimator box to convert the 1080p59.94 signal from the iOS devices to 1080p24 for broadcast. And that… should be everything (hahahah *sigh*)

The video file has been replaced with a corrected version and should play fine on all devices. If it doesn't, please let me know!

The sound was as good as it can be on a macbook pro 2010! The only thing is that once you finish talking the jingle (i dont know if thats the correct term) that plays before the end was a bit loud to my taste. but I’m being very picky, your voice and quality of video 11/10
