In Casey Neistat's 368 vlog on 5/19 he interviews Paul de Gelder, who mentions how difficult it is for him to operate a camera with only his LEFT hand. I have some ideas, and plan to share them live!
A long-time viewer shared the Aputure AL-M9 LED Light with me with me at the NAB Conference. Is this the best tiny little LED light you can buy?

This incredible green or blue screen technology, reflecmedia, is nothing short of amazing! The special screen is chromatte fabric, designed to reflect the color emitted by the LiteRing back at the camera.
Have you ever wondered how to build your own LUT for video editing? It's actually quite easy. If you're not familiar with color grading or correcting, a Lookup Table is a file that converts colors in an image based on a mathematical formula. Its especially useful if you have a large batch or a whole project to apply the same color grading to. Use LUTs with any of your favorite editing programs (Photoshop, Lightroom, Afinity Photo, Premier, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc… you get the picture).
A viewer asked if you could combine the long exposure mode photography (to get a blurry waterfall, for example) with the LUMIX G9 High Resolution mode. The easy answer is YES… but the details may surprise you.

Let's take a look at the project I've been working on in FCP X 10.4.1 that I shot during my trip to Slovenia. And, bonus, gotta love when you accidentally learn something new in the program you're using.
Ever tried adding a wireless microphone to your iPhone 7, iPhone 8, or iPhone X? Turns out more adapters than you realize might be needed…
It used to be simple. You could use a RØDE smartLav+ and connect directly. Or use any wired or wireless mic with a simple TRS to TRRS adapter and be good to go. But now you also need a Lightning to headphone jack adapter. Which actually may not be enough. So maybe you need an Apple Camera Adapter (?!?!) and then a USB audio adapter. Confused yet? It's nuts… but this is what it takes today.
Back from NAB! I'm exhausted so this will be brief, but there's something really important I want you to do for me as well. Listen up!
