1 to 1 Training & Support

This site is chock-full of free tips on many photography apps, downloadable ebooks and video training, as well as the user forum where you can post any app related questions you like. But sometimes you need a bit more…

If you're interested in a one-to-one consultation, to personalize your workflow, help organize your library, get hands-on training for any aspect of an application, or simply want someone to talk to directly about your photo apps need (including Aperture, Photos, Lightroom and more), now you can.

Joseph is available for consulting over voice, video and screen sharing support, billed at an hourly rate of $125 per hour, with a one hour minimum. You will be invoiced immediately following every session.

NOTE: If you're looking for community support (free), please post your question in the forum.

What is vexing? Feel free to be as brief or as detailed as you like here. Just let me know what you're after… a redesigned workflow? Cleaning up years of a messy library? Figuring out your workflow transition path? Whatever it may be, let me know how I can help.

Need help.

I have an older IMac with 4 GB memory, an internal 2 TB drive and 2 external 3TB drives (USB2.).

I upgraded the IOS to Yosemite some months ago and it slowed everything down a lot.

Problem:

I have an Aperture Library of about 1.2 TB and archived it on the internal C drive as well as on 2 external drive vaults.  Recently my Aperture stopped showing me the vaults that I’d set up.  I know they’re there because I can see them on the drives and the file sizes are correct.  How do I get Aperture to see my vaults again so I can go back to archiving changes?

Urgent; has slowed down my Aperture use a lot.  At this point, using new Aperture Library files for every new project I start.

Please help.

Fred

Fred,

This isn't the general help forum… for that you can post here. If you're interested in paid 1 to 1 support, please fill out the form above and I'll get back to you to schedule a session.

I had two sessions with Joseph to figure out what was going on with Aperture (for some reasons a number of my videos stopped working). Joseph was patient, understanding, and fixed the problem! I also learned a lot during our time together. He knows Aperture inside and out! Even though Aperture is working perfectly, I might be hiring him again so that I can expand my knowledge on my ever-growing library!

Thanks, Joseph!

A couple of months ago I hired Joseph to help me set up some presets for importing and exporting to facilitate exporting and uploading to a couple of photo agencies, and my website.

He began by asking for detailed info on what I wanted to accomplish, then did a face to face on Skype.  In a little over an hour Joseph moved me forward and helped to explain where I was going wrong and how workflow could be improved. As a business person I found it great value - and far cheaper than traveling to take a course that might not address my needs.

I can recommend him without reservation and will undoubtably be using his services again.

Joseph’s 1 to 1 support is great. His Aperture knowledge, teaching  ability, and patience are priceless.  Whether  you need to solve an issue , or just learn to make better use of your time with the program and your photos, this is a great way to do it.

Thanks Joseph for your help!

Although I have been using Aperture since version 1.0, have used it professionaly almost 365 days a year since, and have even been trained to teach Aperture, I still get stuck sometimes.

Joseph has been an invaluable help in working thru some issues related to using Aperture for my book, The Spirit of Tea. He is super friendly, easy to work with, and most importantly knows Aperture like the proverbial back of his hand. You cannot go wrong hiring Joseph for your Aperture needs.
